- Install backflow preventer
- Install in horizontal pipework with discharge connection directed down
● Notation menstruation management (indicated by arrow)
● Install without tension or bending stresses - Provide a straight section of pipework of at to the lowest degree five times the nominal valve size after the backflow preventer
- Maintain assembly distances
- Load the middle screw only in axial direction
- Connect discharge pipework close coupled and without tight bends according to connexion dimensions (see tabular array)

- Procedure according to instruction of the test control unit TKA295
Testing discharge valve
Take note of the instructions of the test control unit TKA295
- Procedure according to instruction of the examination control unit TKA295
Quick test for the belch valve:
- Lower the inlet pressure
– if the belch valve opens (it drops), the function is o.chiliad.
Testing outlet check valve
Take note of the instructions of the test command unit of measurement TKA295
- Procedure according to instruction of the examination command unit TKA295

Detergents must not be immune to enter the environment or the sewerage system!
Discharge valve
- Close shut-off valve on inlet
- Close close off valve on outlet
- Release force per unit area using the 3 ball valves
- Unscrew pressure level command line
- Open screws on the chapeau
- Remove cover
- Push clench together and remove
- Remove discharge valve upwards
● Clean or replace equally required - Grease O-rings for drinking water installation well with admissible greasing agent, supplant damaged O-rings
- Reassemble in reverse gild
- Exam function (see 5.i Inspection)
Check valve
- Close shut-off valve on inlet
- Close shut-off valve on outlet
- Release pressure using the three brawl valves
- Open screws on the lid
- Remove cover
- Push button clamp together and remove
- Twist securing ring out of the receiving slot
Circumspection!
! Adventure of injury – Cheque valves are under spring tension! - Pull out the check valve
● disassemble the outlet check valve first, and the inlet check valve
● Make clean or replace as required
● Leaking check valves must exist replaced.
● If the edge seals are worn, you can switch the cases of the 2 check valves with each other (see conversion check valves) - Reassemble in reverse society

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Cause | Remedy |
| Belch valve opens without credible reason | Pressure strokes in h2o supply system | Install a pressure reducing valve upstream the backflow preventer |
| Fluctuating inlet pressure | Install a pressure reducing valve upstream the backflow preventer | |
| Inlet bank check valve and/or belch valves are dingy | Remove check valve or discharge valve and clean it | |
| Leaky inlet check valve | Supervene upon check valve | |
| Discharge valve don't close | Deposits on valve seat | Remove discharge valve, clean or supplant it |
| Damaged 'o'ring | Remove belch valve and replace 'o'band | |
| Leaky discharge valve | Remove discharge valve, make clean or supercede information technology | |
| Belch valve don't open | Blocked force per unit area control pipe | Remove control pipage and make clean it |
